History

	Emy			Abraham originally trained as an Auto Mechanic, but his interest in hair grew as he found himself cutting hair for more and more of his friends. When Emy was starting her salon in 1998, he became a licensed jouneyman hair stylist and barber. His personal popularity and styling skills brought in extra business to the salon and continues to be a big part of the business.
				Afro Hair Studio has grown into a thriving business over the past 7 Years. The friendly family atmosphere and the warmth of Abraham and Emy have made it into a most pleasant place to visit. Their extensive experience in all facets of African hair styling, has made them simply "The Best Black Hair Salon in all of Western Canada".		Abraham
Emy grew up in the Salon. Since she was 10 Years old Emy has been doing hair. Her mother owned a salon since she was 20 years old, and Emy grew up there with her brothers and sisters. Emy learned even more varieties of hair when she started working in Toronto for 3 Years. When she came to Vancouver, her skills became well known quickly, so she opened her own salon in 1998.
